We are pleased to report that we have obtained a copy of the 1939 Register for the Hospital. This includes a listing of residents and patients of the Hospital at the end of September 1939 immediately following the outbreak of World War Two.

This will enable us to update and expand our records of patients at the Hospital at that time, particularly with regard to cross referencing to burials made at Caister Cemetery. Of especial interest is the number of Army patients at the Hospital.

Once cataloguing has been completed, we will update the burial listing on the Caister Cemetery page of this website.
